February is often a quieter month at the barn, but it is also a season of preparation and intention.
As we look ahead to spring, I want to share an important update with you. Our mentor-based program is evolving to Bridging Hearts & Horses. This program recognizes an expanded need within our local community. At its core, the program remains focused on building trust, emotional regulation, confidence, and connection through meaningful relationships between youth, mentors, and horses. It will now be open to all youth ages 5-18 that have experienced complex childhood trauma. Our Bridging Hearts & Horses participants will begin their next session in March, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make this transition possible. Your support allows us to continue offering a safe, consistent, and trauma-informed space where real growth can happen. We are also looking forward to a favorite community tradition, our upcoming Pancake Breakfast on March 14th. This event is more than a fundraiser. It is a chance for friends, families, volunteers, and supporters to gather, connect, and celebrate the mission we share. We hope you will join us and help spread the word. Even during the quieter winter months, your generosity keeps the barn running, the horses cared for, and our programs moving forward. There are no small contributions here. Every gift, every share, and every show of support plays a role in changing lives. Thank you for being part of the Autumn Trails Stable community. We are excited for what the coming months will bring and grateful to walk this path with you. With gratitude, Angela Stan Executive Director
