Autumn Trails Stable's 2020 Denim & Diamonds Dinner & Silent Auction = CANCELLED due to Covid-19
On April 24th, Autumn Trails Stable was scheduled to host one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, the 3rd Annual Denim & Diamonds Dinner & Silent Auction. We are sad to announce that due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will be cancelling the event for 2020.
Our Denim & Diamonds event brings in over $10,000 (we had a goal of raising$15,000 this year in order to support our growth) which pays for program operations as well as supports our herd of 9 horses that make our work possible. Between the cancellation of this fundraiser and the looming possibility of having to cancel Spring session, we are fearful of how ATS will continue.
We need your help to raise a portion of these important funds! We are motivated by the resilience we see in each of our program participants, so we are hard at work creating additional fundraising opportunities as well as engaging our students who miss their horses so much!
If you have already purchased your tickets to Denim & Diamonds or joined us as a sponsor for the event, we will be in contact with you this week to see if you would like a refund or would like to put the amount toward helping us continue to be a pillar of strength for those that need us in our community. A big thank you to those who have already reached out and told us to use those funds as we see fit! For those silent auction items that have been donated, we plan to take a REINcheck (haha get it!) and add the silent auction to our 5th Annual Duke Memorial Horse Show to be held on October 3rd this year!
While we can “reincheck” on our silent auction, we cannot reincheck caring for the herd that makes our work possible! They depend on us every day regardless of the conditions we face.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help pay for the care of our herd and the people who care for them. Watch your email and mailbox over the next few weeks to find out how you can help. In the meantime, stay up to date on our herd and the happenings at ATS by liking our Facebook and Instagram pages.
We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and remain so until this situation is resolved. To our friends on the many different front lines of this, thank you for all that you are doing! We are in this together, so please let us know if there is anything ATS can do to help you and your families. Here’s to hoping we will all be back together in the arena again soon!
